Some quite close friends walk in front of me while I breathe heavily and film them from behind as we all battle the weather. Recorded on a wintery weekend in Derbyshire when the world was white and we were the only people about. The film presents variations on a theme and attempts to capture the struggle of walking through a snowy, muddy, and wet landscape. The title is a nod to a Charles Mingus album while also echoing the film’s structure.
